Palapas
Palapas are a familiar sight in Los Cabos.
These "umbrella" palapas line the beach
in front of the Presidente resort,
which claims the territory behind the red flag.
Inexpensive palapa roofs, made of layers of fan palm fronds,
last up to ten years in Los Cabos' sunny climate.
Beyond these palapas is the San José Estuary.
